Do those fake urine tests actually work?

Supposedly you can buy a fake urine kit and have it fool people screening your urine for drugs. Has anyone really done that successfully?

She bought fake urine with a heat element in it and she used it for her current jobs drug testing and passed. She didnt tell me until after the fact and although I was glad she passed, I was hoping she got away from the smoking. She says it helps with her fibro in combination with her meds so Im not going to judge or condemn but I worry so much about a possession charge should she have it on her and get pulled over. In Indiana even if you possess a seed or stem, it is a possession charge and she has never been in trouble, thats the stepsons department. She promised she only does it at home to wind down from work at night and doesnt drive with it in her car but how does one get it unless they pick it up. Do they deliver?

@notredame : I was put in the position of going out on a limb for my son getting him a very good job. I had my suspicions and after bearing down on my son only as a father can do. He admitted that he has smoked pot,his job working in a large power plant gave random tests.I went To GNC and bought two bottles of 'test free' brand orange drink to cleanse the system before a drug test. He kept it in his lunch box, and was called for a urine test, drank his test free, less than 10 minutes went by he gave his sample and it came back free. this has been a few years ago. The test. was a five panel test which means it tested for five different type drugs. He kept his test free in a orange 'fanta' drink bottle. joe

This also worked for me when I was a teenage pothead! I had literally smoked six hours before my test and I came up clean after drinking the Naturally Clean Tea from GNC (it may be called something else now- this was in 1996)

Yes they are real and they do work provided you can jump through the hoops. The problem I think is getting the entire thing into the test room without being caught and making sure the temperature is correct. If the testing site has any sort of pat down (which I would be surprised if they did) then it could be very difficult to sneak it in. I have never used one so I can't vouch for the efficacy but from what I understand they work.

I haven't tried any of the drinks, but I've used Quick Fix synthetic urine for a few jobs and it worked like a charm!

Depends on the test, depends on a lot of factors actually. Fake pee is the safest bet.

No need to use fake urine. Get a clean friends urine, put it in a visine bottle and in your underwear to keep it warm. When you are sent to the head squirt the contents of the visine bottle into the sample bottle.

I used Golden Seal root. It worked a few times, but I did get caught. I even used apple juice one time in the 90's and got away with it.

@BobbyGee Whenever you use a friends urine, there are risks and you really need to know that friend well. I have a story about a man who worked at a steel mill (this was back when drug testing began) and knew the whole plant was going to get tested and he at that time was a regular pot smoker (at home) He panicked about it staying in the system 30 days so he borrowed urine from his sweet and innocent 15 or16yr old daughter, took the test and then found it turned up positive for cocaine Not a happy father to say the least and had to go to drug counceling but didnt lose his job at least.

If someone is not a regular smoker and say takes 3 hits then 5 days later gets tested, would it show up. I have a friend currently waiting for results and I have reassured him that its highly doubtful it will show up from research I have done. He is lean, drinks plently of fluids and his job makes him work up a sweat nonstop. I have one website that stated it would take 1-2 grams of usage in a weeks period, there is more info but I think my friend will be fine. He was just in a situation and regretted it then and didnt even like it.

Well Drug testing has come a long way since the 90's, depeing on how fancy a lab they use they can test for creatine , Lg, & dilution. So you have to make sure the fake urine atleast meets the creatine standard. & many fake urine kits come as a concentrated form in a little vials, so you have to be sure you add the right amount of water or they will say it was diluted. Which is the main problem with GNC cleansers, it does work well for "Home drug tests".

That's my concern about my tox screen last month. I drink huge amounts of water and have done so for probably 16 years. I did have tests run to make sure I'm not diabetic; I just seem to NEED huge amounts of water.

Last month I went in for my appointment and it was time to do a urine tox screen. I took the little jar into the bathroom, did my job and when I sat it on the sink it was virtually clear! I figure they will want another tox screen this month because of that. I drink three 16 oz bottles before 7:00am. I never leave the house without at least 2 bottles of water and I always have a bottle in my hand - always. I'm curious to see what they say this month and I hope it wasn't so diluted that my medicine doesn't show up. I didn't know they were going to do a tox screen. From now on out I'm going to try to drink less water on the days I have an appointment.

If it's worked in the past I don't think you'll have a issue, I piss clear urine all the time because I stay hydrated, it's usually only yellow due to the lack of water in your body. I'm guessing after you past the first time they probably avoid the more expensive procedures such as dilution, creatine etc and switch over to the basic drug test(just my guess). Insurance companies hate paying for it and PM facilities probably want to save $$ any way they can. Hope all goes well lynx, i'll give my lucky quarter a spin for ya!

Visine bottle you say? You mean using the visine as urine, i'm guessing you would use the "natural tear" stuff? or do you use the visine to dilute it? That's interesting, i've never heard of this befor. could you link me to the thread?

Funny story from a few years ago...
I went to my second interview at a casino knowing I would be tested on site. I purchased shampoo and scrubbed my hair ragged, and straped a bag of fake urine with a heat pad sticker under it.
By the time I went into the casino nurses station I thought I was going to pee my pants from the heat pack. Still I was like "I'm going to make this happen, I'm passing this damn test!" They asked me to open my mouth and stuck in a saliva stick. I thought WTH?
Two days later I got a call offering me the job in security. I was definately like WTF then!

I work for a Large Chemistry Company that makes the Drugs tests. Most common are the 5 pannel tests. Heck, if you knew the company that made the test you can go to the manufactureres Website and read about it and the sensitivity and how it works!

The just picked up the Reagent , Controls and Calibrator today and read about it. For POT they look for urea and the mtaboites that are excreted from the bdoy from Pot. For other tests they look for other things. This is publice info.

I will speak for the POT. When you give the nurse your sample she feels it for warmth and that is it. If it is body temp you are fine. When your urine is actually tested it could be many hours later . My advice to to have a Friend who is drug free donate urine and you put in a bottle next to your body and donate that . The temp will fool the nurse and since it is REAL urine and clean it will fool the test.

I agree with the idea of "borrowing" urine from someone who is clean. I would have done that recently if I were younger and more energetic. Many years ago I sold cars and had to take a drug test to get hired at a high-end dealership. I bummed urine from a pal and spilt it all over my car. <sigh> I had to cancel my appointment and start over. The whole thing was such a pain in the ass.
