For those who have taken Cialis (Tadalafil). Does it give you an erection once you have taken it? Or do the effects of the drug only happen during intercourse giving a harder erection etc.
Basically can you take it and get an erection without being intimate with a partner????

All it does is increae your blood pressure which causes the erection.

So if you want to have a heart attack just because you can't keep your hand off it, be my guess.

ED drugs require sexual stimulation or arousal to have an effect on turgidity. This could be sexual contact with a partner, or autoerotic manipulation, etc. Intercourse is not required, but if your mind is elsewhere, then little if any effect would be observed. So if you take a Cialis in anticipation of sexual activity, but then get called to work, it should not have any noticeable effect. However, any side-effects which you experience would still occur: flushing, headache, nausea, etc. But for most people, these side effects are minimal anyway, or else they wouldn't be taking the medicine.

Magician describes it's effects the best. In a nutshell, I have found that it will make it easier for you to become physically aroused via mental or visual stimulation. On top of that, your erections should be harder and last longer (assuming you had an issue to start with..).

I have used Tadalafil in the past but stopped taking it a while ago. For me (and many others), too many sides effects. If you just cannot plan in advance and timing is an issue tho, you can't beat Tadalafil and it's long half life.

Depends on the person. Some folks report no noticeable side effects. Keep in mind that by definition, most side effects for most people are not problematic. Or they wouldn't be called "side" effects--they would be the primary effect. That said, you should not dose yourself without a physician's guidance, for a number of reasons. See your doc and let him tell you about it, if at all possible.

I've tried cialis for the first time yesterday (well, it was a generic called tadacip), and i got no side effects at all. Or they were so minor that i didn't notice.

I took 10 mg (half tab), its the recommanded starting point. That was really effective, i got hard as wood for the first time in years.

My first experience with generic cialis was a success.

But....I do want to correct a couple of glaring errors. The substance lowers blood pressure. It DOES NOT increase blood pressure.

If you take it, YOU WILL NOT FEEL DIFFERENT -- at least in terms of "horny factor." You will not get hard (unless something is stimulating you). You will not grow horns (unless you are a goat).

The most common side effects are a stuffy nose (easily relieved by OTC meds) and backache (easily relieved by ibuprofen). There are a host of others. Much less common. The side effects will occur (or not) regardless of sexual stimulation.

With me, stuffy nose and backache occurred the first few times (at 20 mg dose). After about six or so doses, never have had another side effect.

For me, it makes erections rock hard and long lasting. Partner loves it. Myself, it seems as if sensation is sometimes less for the "first half" of the session. As the lovemaking goes on, the feelings seem to return and by climax...yeah!

For those who might see my ID and wonder. Yes, I used to visit here. Left. But a friend needs a "fix" and my go-to offshore is out of biz. This is very interesting, @Ranger, and on the basis of your comment I've been giving my stock of Tadalafil another try. Sure enough, the side effects are notably lesser, while the intended result is quite satisfactory. I don't know if it's just variation in my health, or if it's a de-sensitization of some kind. But I'm glad! Thank you so much, Ranger. And it's good to see you back.

Compared to Vardenafil, Tadalafil absolutely does have less side effects. V gives me what I call a "pressure headache" that can last for two days, so along with the other benefits of Tad, it's a winner. In both cases, dosage was 10mg.

10mg of Tadalafil will last about a day and a half. Taking it Friday night seems to cover Saturday as well. Take it with lots of water or the hangover is bad.

I have found that Viagra gives me headaches behind the eyes that can be pretty intense. Cialis doesnt do that, so I use 20mg of that for the desired effect. That said, if either give you blurry vision or persistent "black spots" in your field of vision, see an eye doctor and discontinue use immediately.
