I used the Doc in Wanut Cove until he quit seeing paitents. Going to try the one in GA as soon as I get current on Physical exam. E-Clinic has been very accesible and great to deal with.

I see that this is an old thread that has be resurected. I'd also like to know if Vicodin is as good as it gets with these F2F networks. So far I haven't heard of anyone getting anything stronger in the past few years, even with MRI's, medical records, etc. They write benzo scripts all day long though, so I've heard. Haven't been to one myself, I've been tempted a few times, but it's too expensive to give it a try without a reasonable expectation of what I can expect.

They do not prescribe sch 2 drugs. Got a reply from them and thats what they told me. I am still willing to go through with it because unlike that shitty PM clinic MAPS I can see these guys soon. Kinda crappy though, I need 4 vic 5/500 just to take the edge off.. Hopefully they would be willing to write me a script for 240 10/325 vics and maybe something for sleep. I would be satisfied with that

I hate to bust your bubble, but most of these places will only script 90 pills each month and the max they script is 120 pills. I can't imagine they'd script 240 because that's really bad on your liver (8 pills is 2,600 mg of APAP every day). It could also draw attention to the doctor. If your pain is severe enough for 240 of the 10s each month you should probably try to find a doc close to you or a PM clinic and get a stronger pain med so you can take fewer pills.

agreed with @Lynx4 the liver damage would be too much for a rx that high. something stronger and less a day would be a much better choice. harder to get rx'd but so are hydro's right now, it is the #1 killer from what I recently read.

@mnvikings I've known EclinicMD for a long time and the only way your going to get scripted for 240 of any CIII opioid is if you have a Body Double with a different name.

Most of these f2f referral services have outdated websites and those discounts were given by the old DB forum. You can try emailing them back and asking about the discount. I know that I get quick responses from 1stchoicemeds with any questions. I don't think they have any discounts anymore since the DB board went down.
It's not a good sign if eclinic isn't responding to your question.

I was wondering how they were too. I don't need 240 vicodin but a 60-90 day supply that would last for 2-3 months would take my back/hip pain away.

I was looking for a Face to Face (F2F) in Northern California, not sure if this EclinicMD is in California, haven't read anyone talking about that location yet. If they do have Doctors in this area please let me know.
Since I'm a new member with few posts I was unable to reply to a message I got from dsteury...
I've gone to some of the topics dsteury last visited and put up posts in the same forum in hopes I get your attention and read my message.

I did try The GA Doc and will only Script 30-35 p/Month for 165.00 reconsult fee. Never going to make it with that. Really need another f2f that serves NC. Do I feel Screwed? Yes!!!!!

I'll tell you what. I asked a few too many questions and eclinicmd.com kicked me out - told me they couldn't meet my needsand refuse to allow the f2f/or webcam option. I have multiple sacral fractures that seem to be healing with scar tissue pressing on nerves. Very painful no matter what I do. Unfortunately with the narcotic restrictions I am unable to obtain pain medication, plus I moved to another state 6 mo after I fell without even thinking that it would impact my ability to secure treatment or pain relief medications. MD's in this state won't prescribe - saying they can't, that includes even pain management clinics. Then I was going to try this eclinicmd option, but apparently they don't understand pain management either. The max they would prescribe is 120 and you must incur the initial $185 (using the discount code GAD100) plus $165 fee monthly to get a refill. They will fill once monthly and you have to sign a narcotic contract ...see only them as MD, use only one pharmacy (so you're in trouble if that oharmacy doesn't restock the next time) and bring the rx bottle to them monthly when you see them to have the meds counted - just like the pain management clinics. In their answer to me they said that's 4 doses a day. So I guess if you had something powerful enough that you could just take one at a time, this might work, but they only prescribe Schedule 2's so no oxycodone and no plain codeine or plain hydrocodone.
Don't these doctors know this makes us feel like convicts when in fact all we want is to have quality of life in pain relief.
I read somewhere we are labeled dr shoppers because of the extreme desire we feel to obtain pain medications. But what is missing is, the extreme desire is actually for pain relief, not for the medication.

I say, don't go to places like eclinicmd - they aren't offering actual pain relief. They are offering a few pills for a high price.

Actually "Real pain management" is titrated to an individuals pain level and response to medication. Every state pharmacy web site also reads as if they are advocates for patients pain relief -- so why are these Mds all so skitish about prescribing? The pharmacy board web site says narcotics are not limited. So confusing.

My old MD in the state I fell and fractured no longer is willing to prescribe. This MD's office told me the pharmacy calls to verify the rx and advise the md to be careful -- essentially scaring the doc away from prescribing altogether. This MD sent a letter to patients stating there would be no more pain relief prescribed and referring everyone to pain management clinic.

I visited specialists and pain maangement centers. Unfortunately in my situation, there is nothing surgical that can be done and I'm told patients of sacral fracture suffer for years. These clinics won't/can't/or are unwilling to provide pain relief -- even though my new patient paperwork included a narcotic contract I was required to sign which stated rx bottles are to be brought in monthly for counting/use only one pharmacy/see only them for md care/ etc. This is just so offensive to me. I am humbled by the pain already. Then to be unable to find relief and be treated awful - like this eclinicmd place --- telling me I don't fit their patient profile... Terrible.

If anyone knows an MD who might prescribe to help me in my case (I'll be happy to share the MRI result showing the fractures) - then please contact me outside the group and share.

I'd like to set one of these up but they don't have a doctor in my area. Also would like suggestions on any other eclinicmd "type" sites.
