Default What is the difference between Tylenol with Codeine #3 and Tylenol with Codeine #4

I have just been prescribed Tylenol with Codeine #4 for some dental pain. In the past, for pain from tooth pulling and wisdom tooth removal, I had been prescribed Tylenol with Codeine #3. What is the difference? Is one stronger?
Is one stronger? If so, which?

  2. T-4's contain a full grain of codeine, T-3's a half grain. The amount of acetaminophen is the same in both.
