Default Senior Members and VIP boards

Hi all, I'm new here and was just wondering about the more exclusive areas of the forum. Are there areas where members discuss pharmacies that are not discussed extensively on more public boards (DB)? I know that it will take some time and energy to get to the closed boards, which is why I'm asking. Basically, I would like to know whether the information on the VIP/Senior boards is as exclusive as the board itself?
    Thanks for any insight

I'm not really sure if the sources discussed in the Senior member's (SM) forum are also discussed in DB. I don't get to check DB often since I often get a headache after..LOL. All I can say is the outstanding sources and those who uses email or temporary websites are discussed in the SM area as well as reliable sources for hard to find meds.

thanks for the reply. I'm not really sure what I expected to hear. And answering such substantive questions about an exclusive area could potentially defeat the whole purpose of such an area.
The fact that this is NOT DB is reason enough to stay. Thanks for the reminder.

@jerrytree If you keep posting quality posts like you've been doing, you'll be a senior member in no time at all. In fact, if your posts are equally informative and entertaining expressing a genuine interest in the welfare of the members of the board, then I will try to use whatever skills of persuasion I have to advance your progress. Unfortunately, the 50 post is set in stone or it would be patently unfair to other members. And yet, if you have HIGH quality posts, the moderators will recognize and reward that kind of success.

The answer to your question is that DB is fundamentally a different kind of board. It smacks of elitism. It's an out of control behemoth, rife with flame wars, full of contradictory knowledge, populated by countless shills despite their overly zealous efforts to police it, and its members are NOT friendly compared to PR. It has super secret VIP boards, and VIP boards above those VIP boards. My regular vendor is a secret and I am not allowed to discuss it, even in PR's senior forum, but I know for a fact that the VIP-VIP-VIP section at DB has it included. It's such a well-protected source, that it has been around for years with zero seizures on HTF meds. I have no doubt that it will remain in business indefinitely. But that's beside the point. The point is that there are sources on the PR senior forum which are worth learning about and sticking around for, but only if you're interested in HTF meds. If all you want is cialis or propecia, it'd be a waste of time to try and gain senior member status. But stick with it---I promise you will not regret it. However, you mentioned addys at one point. To my knowledge, there are no IOP's which sell legitimate addy's. I use a real-life personal source (a college student) if I want that. However, ritalin is all over the place and even without senior member status I can recommend an IOP for ritalin (just PM me). Hope that helps.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the IOP's that sell HTF meds are constantly evolving. One day they're in business, and the next, they're gone. Hence the importance of a senior forum---to know which ones are consistently producing.

@QVC1212 Wow, I had no idea that there were so many VIP layers at DB. Also, I didn't realize that only 50 posts are needed for the senior board here. Maybe the number just looked a lot bigger before I started posting - back when I had suffering from a DB hangover. Ugh, the snarky behavior is painful to think about. Sure, there are nice helpful people around, but many of the good members contrast so starkly from the negativity that they come off as sickeningly sweet, as if they were desperately trying to bring a ray of sunshine into the fray.

What I don't understand is why if the forum (DB) still says it is closed for maintenance, yet some threads that show up in google searches show posts as recent as today. At least this forum does seem much better and I have not even read the "above 50 posts" area.

What is the DB forum? I'm looking forward to getting 50 posts to see the Senior Members board. Looks like a good source of information on controlled substances.

I wish there was a way to get VIP/Senior member status by donating money. This could help the forums with $$ for hosting and other expenses. Some people may not have the time / patience / brain power / perseverance in order to write/reply to 50 posts. Personally I'd like to see a donation system put in place, which could help the forums in a number of different ways ( New features, Reviews, Chat room.)

Unfortunately when RHA went into effect one of the Laws of the Act were that anyone who enabled People to buy Meds through IOP's or BI's or anyway that is considered Illegal...... for the Exchange of Money..... could be held accountable!!!....So the Admin of this Board could get in Hot Water if they were to accept $$ for Access to the Board that could Enable people to Procure Meds Illegally. That is why the VIP Board on DB was Closed as the VIP board Charged a Membership Fee.

I was a db member for over 8 years and only had only 200+ posts although one, (or two?) I was on the VIP side. I'm a little curious also what's behind the magical 50+ curtain. I do remember membership count grew exponentially the last few years on db (I had a low 8,000 member number and they were up to something like 190,000 (although I imagine half or so of those we inactive in one way or another)...anyway many newer member were posting like crazy (e.g. 1,000 posts in 6 months), just to move up in rank. Unfortunatly many of the posts really didn't contain useful information...kind of like this post. Anyway, it'll be interesting to see how things pan out with this site. Hopefully people will minimize their posts to actual experience, knowledge, asking of or responding to questions...lots of wheat, minimal chaff.

As Far as i know DB (i have been following them for years) their members were vendors who were involved more in promoting their pharmacy than taking care of forum members query.PR as far as i can see has no such intention and is very much to the point.Great work by the Admin and its mods.

Please don't let people buy there way into the senior members VIP board. I get it. Instant gratification is one of my vices as I am pretty impatient. I'm also painfully shy & in all likelihood I will never hit 50 posts. One thing I do know is scammers have a lot more money then most of us do, and that's not quite fair.

    Thanks for listening....

All very interesting info. I was over at db for years but never really posted much except to add feedback about vendors I had used. I was over in the VIP section when it was paid and didn't find it that different from the freeboards...but it sounds like I was missing something.

It's good to have an incentive to post here though

I think I mention it in one of my posts and that the requirement of 50 substantial posts is pretty fair compared to those forums which require paying in order to get access to a certain VIP forum. Personally, I have never really understand all the whining about this particular rule. Thanks for all those who understood that the admin is trying to make ways in order for the forum to be secured, reliable and just prioritize the best interest of its members.

Default It all falls on good leadership!

It looks as if the senior members and moderators are giving good feedback and input---are setting healthy boundaries and achievements for the members---The 50 post requirement seems to be a good goal, there needs to be some control with such a large members base. Helps cut out the Information Bandits.

    I agree with this post.

Once you give privileges out for cash, that others had to actually 'work' for, it kind of defeats the whole purpose of having to actually contribute something to the site.

It's way too easy to 'buy your way out' of so much nowadays.

I would hate to see such a seemingly fair, black and white policy circumvented via money like so many other things are today.

I imagine the majority of people here, myself included, cannot get adequate care for lack of money and\or affordable health care, which drives people as myself to avenues such as domestic OP's and IOP's and even BI's...

We all have our reasons, but I am willing to bet that more than not... the reason usually has to do with money to begin with. (REGARDLESS OF THE ARGUMENT THAT IT IS MORE EXPENSIVE - IT IS NOT ALWAYS MORE EXPENSIVE TO PROCURE ONLINE! - SUCH AS MY CASE)

    - Sorry if I filled with useless information - I am new here, but I still felt the need to give my two cents...

I really dont see the big deal in the senior section when most..well.. if not all are posted out in the open for all to see are have clearly shown to be reliable.. even the people that would like to shut them down. whether its jock itch cream or powerful pain meds some of these sites should be a lil harder to access and not just hanging out for all to see. I understand the frustration of being under a post limit, but 50 good post is not a impossible mountain to climb.. its 50 post! but it could deter some of the "bad" guys or people that just do not agree with it and just would like to cause problems or kids passing through and wham the sites that people use for legit reasons and have taken the chance, time and money will be gone.

I completely agree with that. I had a hard times with online pharmacies, topix scammers, and finally it seems there was some light with DB.com but it is now closed. I just joined this forum and hope I will finally get solid and long lasting contacts!
