thanks for this thread
i want to be safe.
It is wise to research in this area. Good advice. It is scary how many people don't know what they are taking or what there meds actually do.
Thanks for that![]()
Thanks for the great post - I'm new to ordering online, and will definitely be checking my mess as best as I can upon arrival.

Thanks for this thread!! Years ago when I first met my now husband, I found some pills and had NO idea what they were so I turned to the internet an found rxlist.com and punched the numbers and letters from the pills in and all the information was in front of me!!
Better safe than sorry!!
my watson 853's i ordered from phonline are not yellow or blue they loook grainey and like a tannish type color

So you have to be aware of counterfeit meds also?
There are quite a few nice identifiers online that are reliable, imo..
Are these easily fooled?

There are also sites that will identify ******** generics as well but as with anything you have to do due diligence. Here is the thing I try to do, I try to establish relationships with a few trusted people and so far the only times I have been in doubt are when I have gone outside of my own rules and been greedy as in wanting something to cheap to be true or when I have dealt with someone that I have not researched which was only in the very early days of the online pharmacies. Right now, with all of the information available we have the power to be able to help one another out and I believe we have the obligation to do this. I have lost a great amount of faith in the system of medical practice but that is all the more reason to band together and help each other out when we can. Please understand I am not encouraging anything outside the law I am just saying that looking for solid advice in terms of what we are taking and what others experience has been has now become a part of our tool box. I think one of the reasons that Drs are so grouchy about stuff these days is that they are always in the spotlight in a bad way whether it is the DEA or the patients attorney or whatever but what I can see from places like this site are honest efforts to help each other and that gives me hope! Keep on people..... here is a link to a site that has many different meds Pill Identification Wizard from Drugs.com
“You have to die a few times before you can live.”

Ive seen that site before, but i always wondered...You can make a pill look like anything. Its not very difficult![]()
I actually own a BHF which is the British National Formula....the bible for all doctors, it is actually available free online to anyone residing in the UK but, with technology you can fool your computer/tablet/iPhone etc that you are in the UK.
I still bought the actual book (I like books) and since I have used them for years I know how to use the book form much better. They are expensive to buy like most text books £40 New but, you can get a second hand one (which I did) on amazon for less than £10.
It deosn't show you pictures but, it gives you all the info you need about side effects etc and dosage instructions etc.
You can also get a children's version to check what the doc is giving your little ones!
I would imagine that America has a similar book etc.
I would also like to say well done to the thread starter as this is great information for people who don't (but really should) know what they are taking!

Good resource for those who have not decided which online pharmacy is reliable to buy meds from. Despite the fact I know the quality of products I buy - this source would be very useful for me as well!!
I just got an order after about 30 days of waiting from phonline.me and first of all they did not send me the percocet I ordered and paid almost 300 bucks for... they sent me the yellow watson 853 hydrocodones, which I am pretty sure are fakes in any case. They have the imprint but the are a mottled yellow and hard as rocks. They don't feel like hydrocodone at all, they feel almost like a strong benzo or even bacloflen (strong muscle relaxant) with the added "bonus" of giving me horrible leg cramps. So total garbage. They promised to correct my order and send what I originally wanted but I think I may just ask for a refund through my credit card company. Also the price difference between what I ordered and what they sent (had the watsons been real) was around 100 dollars. No Thank You.
I was stoked that I thought I'd found a site that had what I wanted and took credit cards, provided tracking numbers etc, but if the orders take a month to arrive only to be wrong AND counterfeit. Well. That's what I get.

And they are semi-decent counterfeits as the color, though grainy is yellow and the imprint codes are the ones for the watson 10mg. Not what I ordered, and not actually the watsons either.

I always check online to make sure I got what I think I got. Unfortunately, there are good looking fakes that can look exactly like the real deal. I'm glad you decided to post this because people need to be aware of what they are taking.

@Chasersb23
Hallelujah! Couldn't agree with you more on this point. Recently encountered some FANTASTIC fakes right down to the packaging, tablet shape, pressing, and appearance. I won't go as far as to say they were TOTAL fakes but either cut or WAY, WAY low in potency. I ran into not only medical, financial, and CC fraud. I DON'T speak for all or for ALL medications dispatched, just a VERY bad experience with me. However, you do bring up an excellent point. Makes you kind of weary as to what you're actually swallowing/putting into your body!![]()

Quaalude- Sorry to hear about your misfortune! It's really incredible how good some fakes are these days. Best of luck to you in the future!

Hi- new here, read for years but this is only third post. A few years ago one late night when I was experiencing insomnia and quite sleep deprived I picked up my new bottle of -supposedly- Ambien (an rx sleep med) and it "sounded" lALMOST like the usual- that is, when you rattle a bottle of pills they have a distinctive sound- these were small tablets like ambien, so sounded similar, but something was off- I took one out in the dark and before popping it in my mouth, felt the shape was not right- turned on the light and low and behold- it was thyroid medication. This was from a local Kaiser pharmacy. I was fine - in fact I take a similar thyroid med so I would have been ok even if I took it i.e. would not have killed me but that's not the point. It occurred to me- Thyroid meds are to be taken first thing in the morning and if they gave me some guy's thyroid instead of my ambien, what if they gave that guy my ambien instead of his thyroid and he took it by mistake when he was just waking up in the morning - and then drove a car- YIKES! I phoned the pharmacy immediately but I sometimes wonder "what if". Scary stuff. I always check the pills. Unfortunately some of the more "obscure" generics have no unique markings and are a crap shoot.
