Telephone spamming by Indian/Pakistani pharmacies?

I have given lessons to my parents and some of my friends on hanging up on indian telemarketers. I dont know if it happens everywhere, but in australia there is a 2 second break before some one says 'hello madam' and thats when i hang up.
There is no reason for you to say a single word.
I have never had a call back.
I also have caller ID if i dont recogise the number or it is 'private' i dont answer the call.
If the whole world hang up on indian telemarkets before they spoke, there would be no industry and the world would be a better place.

I am another victim of these spammers. Every single day at least one call... The only resolve = changing my phone number.

What a sad state of affairs, to let these people harass like that without anything to stop them. Really made me feel like a junky.....

Tell them your an undercover FBI agent tracing their call using a reverse directory phone number look up program, and you are sending a patrol car to pick them up.

I have a phone stalker as well...

A gal named "Angel" from "American Health" based out of Florida. Indian accent. Calls every day. Sometimes several times a day. I have no idea how she got my phone number.

You are dealing with foreign criminals sending out meds w/o a prescription trying to maximize profit. Even the US based places that were shipping Soma are usually foreign operated. They use American names like Jim, Shelly, etc. and usually have pics of attractive white American models in lab coats on their sites.

Their is no telling how many times your email/# get sold. Never trust any of these places.

I am back on this list too...I was off of it for awhile but the calls started again this week. I loved the last message I got earlier this week. He kept saying "we now have a program where you guys can test what we send you so that you guys know that you guys got what you guys ordered..." I bet he said "YOU GUYS" about 20 times in the voicemail. I am kind of back at the place where i want to change my number. It is a sad state of affairs as someone else said in this thread!

I have this same issue also. They are calling my cellphone and home telephone number. It is so darn annoying. I only deal with Indian vendors and I think they sell your information. I have been also getting lots of spam emails.

Hate to say it, but the best advise I can give = change your phone #'s and mark all the e-mails as phishing scams.

It's the only way I finally got the bastards to stop. After lots of swearing of course.....

That is the reason why I never try such pharmacies...it's not the first time when I hear such stories about permanent telephone spamming by Indian pharmacies...they really seem to misunderstand what you are talking to them, they are like automatic machines...I am glad that I was lucky enough to have found more competent vendor..

My first post, this forum is great and I wish I had found it earlier. A week ago, I got one of these calls asking if I wanted to re-fill an order I made a year earlier from a different online pharm. Since I live in “extreme right wing” state, the meds I ordered before can no longer be shipped here. So, I stupidly placed an order. Now, I receive a call every other day asking me if I want to refill them. I keep saying I’m still waiting for my first order to come I don’t need any more. Then they call again the next day. What a drag.
I will keep you all posted on what does arrive.

Yah I got a call in between my current order and it said my order didn't go through and they needed to re order them. ( My actual order was fine) But I thought this was the place that had already took my money so I was like ok whats going on. They proceded to tell me I could get a special offer and get 30 bonus pills ..blaa blaa blaa. After a five minuet call of non sense I asked them what happened to my origonal order and they said I never ordered. I then realized I was on the phone with entirely different place. I told them to call me later and we could discuss what they had to offer . They never called back. Oh well they only wasted 5 minuets of my life..lol

I've just thought - what if tell them that you are going to change your telephone number and tell them some number like it's your new one? May be they'll delete your old one and will not disturb you

I have tried to stop the calls and finally changed my cell to accept calls from contact members only. Not the best solution but I am so tired of of these. I have called back one of the numbers and have gotten an option to stop notifications but to no avail.

“DO NOT CALL” REGISTRY

If your offender is a telemarketer, stop them in their tracks by registering with the National Do Not Call Registry. It is illegal for telemarketers to call you after you have been added to this list. Allow 31 days for your registration to take effect, and if the calls still don’t stop, file a complaint.

I recently tried this. Will let you know next month if it worked. Has anyone else tried this?
