Admin notices

If you have time, would you do the same type of marked screen print to show folks how to access the info on the notices the admin puts at the top of the page? @Jolie was asking me where the threads/info were on the new LIKE POST option and Reputation explanation. I used words to explain but think your graphic answers are MUCH clearer.

@Fireplaces I'm not sure what you're talking about. Can you post a link to the thread where you tried to explain this? If you mean the notices the admin posts at the top of the forum page then I think that's the only place you can view that. Unless you mean the threads where the admin goes into more detail which would be the "General forum guide" section? If you post a link to the thread where you were explaining this I should be able to figure out what you're talking about.

@derpderp, That's what I mean, those at the top of the page. The notices. I think ALOT of folks miss those. I know I did. Can you do a screen print, circle the words 'HERE' in red and post it, as an image?

I really think that would be helpful. I just found it myself the other day and tried to explain it to @Jolie. But a picture is so much better!

Those are the only notices I see when not logged in. I don't see any notices when logged in because whenever a new one is posted I click the red x in the corner of it to make it go away. Everything I circled there is a link that will take you to the thread that describes it in more detail.

Thanks @derpderp, that was exactly what I was hoping you would post for those who did not know about how to access the admin notices.

I myself was wondering the other day about something Keith referenced from one of the notices, wondering to myself, "how did he know that?" It was in admin notices.

I tend to go right to my old posts, favorite threads, etc... and never noticed admin notices.

Anyway thanks. Jolie, hope you find your way here as I know you were asking about it.
