If it is in the senior members area you'll have to wait until you gain access to it. If you inquire about it in the open you will bring the topic into the open. And as mentioned many times, some vendors have been moved their because of attempts to shill. If you bring in a vendor who has shilled in the past into the open you're giving him a chance to shill once more.

Some vendors sell schedule 1 or 2 meds and we can't speak about that in the open area.


Many users here have gone through the same frustration, some can put up with it but others just simply can't and begin to break rules, and get upset when they do and begin to cause problems. If you're able to maintain some sort of patience in no time you'll see yourself in such area, just give it time.

I have to say that I am pretty impressed with the level of checks and balances in this forum. One of the things that I have always found frustrating about the online world besides the obvious ripoffs and scammers is the lack of quality due to the almost defeatist democracy that says on many boards whoever speaks most rudely and loudest gets heard. For instance, I have followed this board for sometime but I knew not to start posting until I had a good idea of what might add to the conversation. Otherwise, why say it again This board does as good a job of that as I have seen in the online communities.

I am a serious long-term chronic pain patient and I have struggled against every prejudice that many of you have struggled with. I don't like to have to be worried about what I say or that my neighbor might label my an addict if they know I have to take something long-term but that is the way of it sometimes.

I am grateful for refuge from the storm wherever I can find it and I believe that this boards built in defense against junk will serve it well while others weaken and fall because they just don't put in the correct checks and balances.

I don't think this list should be in open as it defeats the purpose of the rules. Why can't this be PM'd to new members as soon as they join instead??

I think that sounds like a top idea. It would bypass a heap of unwanted posts "like mine from yesterday".
If new members were PM'd this at the outset it would definitely give them a good heads up and they would have plenty of data to mull over before making posts that might upset some of the more 'sensitive' senior members.LOL
I'm NOT saying it does or doesn't belong here, I really have no opinion on that, I just really think its some great info that would be of a massive benefit to any new member. Also, if it were automatically PM'd to the newbies there would be no risk of them/us stumbling around the forum and never even noticing it.

I second that last statement, and I've seen a few threads with those pharmacies mentioned when they shouldn't have. But then again they might not know how to get to their PM's right away either.

Honestly, this makes me feel so much better about being on this forum. I think everyone starts this process nevous and paranoid.

The only reason that I registered is because guests can barely view even half a page before the site demands that you register before viewing the next sentence.

Whatever you are trying to suggest about me or my purposes, registering did stop the pages from being hidden. My needs have already been met.

I can only assume that you are projecting your own desire for gratification, onto others, in an effort to portray the image of someone who is better than those who impatiently parade around such desires in the open.

In your effort to appear above such things, you only betray your own focus on them. Irony is awesome.

@1984, I think @jcorsig just meant that if you're looking for an instant source (which many, MANY are) registering doesn't get the trick done, it takes a lot of reading and, if you want to make it past the basic vendors, posting and contributing. I don't think there was any ill intent.

And I agree, this is a great place, you might give posting and getting to know people a shot. If being able to read an entire page is helpful, being part of the community is invaluable, just my two cents.

I try to point out that there is a much much better way to approach the site than bitch about it and I get attacked because you have taken zero time to understand the intent.

If you have such an emotional reaction to someone trying to help you realize there is much more here you're really not going to like it here and why bother liking the post?

Seriously if you don't like the site rules dont use it. It's a daily occurrence to see someone trying to buck the system because life here isn't handed to them on a golden platter.

So instead of learning from people who are wise like @Waterfalls, @billyboy1965 @betsky @UGAgal ect and making friends, getting support and taking more away then just sources and drug information you complain about the 2 minute enrollment process. Gotcha. Well there are a lot of problems here and I'll guess that having to enroll might be one that's been overlooked. Perhaps you can ask @drboris to Just make the entire forum
