I have to decided to stop taking propecia because of the side effects....
...However i want to atleast maintain my? Hair. Should the transition from Propecia to say Rogaine be pretty smooth? Should I take Rogaine with propecia for awhile then slowly get off Propecia? I just can't take the sexual sideeffects of Propecia anymore even though it has worked great as far as my hair is concerned.

Rogaine only helped maintain the hair i had when i used it, if propecia is stalling your sex life stop using it and try the rogaine, hope this helps

You should be able to just switch products. but if you feel more comfortable using both for a bit it is ok, rogaine does not change blood serums levels of propecia, it works topically and won't cause drug interactions.
If you do have problems the most likely cause will be straight up allergy to rogaine.

ask your doctor to be sure, but i think that may be a good alternative, i wouldn't recommend using them both at the same time however.
