Default What happens if you get heparin on your skin

I was flushing a line, and before I screwed the syringe in, it splattered all over my arm. What happens if heparin touches skin? nothing?

    thanks!

Nothing. It's just wash/flush that goes through IV/Picc lines. Just wipe it off. =)

Nothing, heparin only has an effect when it is in circulation.
