Zocor side effects. My doctor put me on zocor. I am so scared to take it cause of the side effects.

I have heard zocor can cause depression, low sex drive & muscle aches. I already have depression i do not need more of it honestly lol I have no pain in my muscles & i do not want to start now. My sex drive is fine i don't want it no lower.

I took an antibiotic about 3 weeks ago & it caused me panic attacks, low sex drive or no sex drive at that & also foot pain & leg pain. So i know how the side effects can be for some medications. That's why i am extremely scared of taking the zocor. I do not need these side effects again. I do take fish oil but not enough to help my cholesterol. I am not sure on how much to take of the fish oil cause its sorta confusing about the epa or whatever that's called. I do take vitamins. She put me on 20 mg but i am wanting to only take 10 mg!Please help i do not know what to do. I am so scared to take this zocor. Has any one taking zocor & had good results?Any one can answer. Please help. Thanks.

Do not take zocor because you dont need those side effects. Talk to your doctor and ask if there is anything else.

Let me direct you to this similar post here in this forum. Our member Think! recommended asking your doctor to consider other related medications which do not have those side effects like Zocor's. Stopped Zocor how long till side effects go away
