I have been taking zocor for a number of years and have just found out that they are the culprits of my hair falling out, my feet so sore I have a hard time walking on them. The Dr. decided to put me on another med for cholesterol and that is how I found out about the zocor. I absolutley refuse to take any statins. I have seen many Drs. about my feet and no one seemed to be able to fine the cause. They also caused a sciatica problem.
Myalgia or muscle pain is one of the possible side effects of Zocor (simvastatin), although the soreness of your feet may also be caused by edema, another side effect of the drug.
