What are the cramps like? Are they an ache, or are they actual cramping of your muscles? I would give the doctor a call, he/she MAY want to take your blood depending on your symptoms. Statin's can cause muscle pain, and could cause a more serious and very rare condition called rhabdomyolysis which also appears like a muscle ache/pain. One warning on rhabdo, hopefully your doctor or pharmacist talked to you about this but if you notice your pee coming out a brown / blue color, go to the emergency room right away.
Excessive plegm isn't in the literature as a side effect, but headaches can be a side effect. But headaches are a pretty commonly reported side effect for almost ANY drug and usually they will go away after a while. Are you sure you aren't sick? That in itself may be worth a call to the doctor!
