Change in formula, fakes, or losing my mind?

Hey everyone! I am hoping to get some advice regarding current roxicodone 30 mil formula. I have taken these meds periodically over the years but lately they feel different. The pill stamp says V 48/12 and looks the same compared to images on Google. I know the big brother pill oxycontin formula was modified with added fillers the roxis were not originally effected. Over the last few days I have started to think the manufacture are now adding the same junk into the roxis OR maybe they are fakes? It is a horrible thought to think maybe they are fake filled with god know what but since I don't shop at Walgreens I know it could be a possibility.

I have not been able to confirm online that these pills indeed changed so maybe I'm just going crazy.

There has been no change in the formulation of Roxicodone that I'm aware of and I get regular bulletins from Xanodyne, the manufacturer.
Are you sure the change in effectiveness is not related to your tolerance built up over the years of use?

from your post i take it you dont get them at a pharmacy? then yes they definatly could be fakes, can u notice any difference in appearance, even very slight? remember these people are good at what they do, have you ever tasted one before? difference in taste? also are you feeling any kinda of withdrawal symptoms after being on this for a few days? thats always a good indicator

well have you tried doing a simple good search to find out?

Google is the first place I checked but all the info was contradictory. The pharmacy I use was highly recommended but you never really know.

Are you snorting these pills or swallowing them?
Real Roxicodone should not have a consistency in any way like the new OxyContin if crushed.
If yours does, it's not Roxicodone or IR oxycodone. I'd really avoid ingesting whatever it actually is.

You do have some difference in the brands of genetics. I think one brand is extremely hard to crush, but it works fine.

I never order from the BL sites since they are too expensive. Not to mention they might be selling fakes.

There's no change. As far as the big name 30mg's;

Qualitest's crappy 'Vs' - safest bet, nobody fakes them.
KvK Tech's 'K9' - Were a street favorite, as of this week there are THOUSANDS of fakes, burn like hell when sniffed, no effect.
Mallinckrodt's 'M' - Still everyone's preferred, seems a lot of people still claim irritable stomach issues from them, fat pill = big drip.
Actavis' 'A215' - Haven't come across any fake a's.

Of the above big four, none of the pharma's have changed their compounds at all. Many people on the street have been saying 'KVK' changed their formula so people wouldn't sniff them. That's bullshit, there's thousands on the street that are fake and burn like a bitch when snorted, so people made this cover story.

First off Roxi, Roxycontin, Roxicodone does not even exist. That's right!

Ask any legit pharmacy if they carry Roxie's. LOL!!! This is simply a street name for generic oxycodone. Never, ever, ever, ever will you see any prescription bottle say "Roxi".

Second of all, Numerous companies make a generic extended or delayed release oxycodone(including some of the manufacturer's listed above). However after the creator of Oxycontin (Purdue pharmacies) refined there makeup of the original Oxycontin (from OC to OP) to be "abuse resistant" the most desirable form of the drug became generic oxycodone (or Roxy's).

The only reason the 30mg dose is so popular is that it is the largest quantity of available oxy available in the instant release format. This is not to say that the same companies that make "Roxies" don't make 60mg or 80mg oxycodone, it is just in an extended release form.


This being said....if you have to question the consistency or integrity of the pill you purchased I would consider another provider.

Besides feeling weak, is there any other way I can tell if Mallinckrodt 30's are fake. They match all the pictures I have seen and they are light blue. I have also heard that they are not even made anymore. Is that true?

I got some of the m30s from SY early last week and they were definitely real.

Roxicodone is a brand name medication manufactured and marketed by Roxane Labs in the US.

I have received fake Mbox 30's in the last two weeks where I am. I still have them and can post pics if you want. This is becoming a big problem here. I am just glad that there is no effect from the fakes I have encountered. I have hear horror stories of other fake m's and its a shame. These ones were as mentioned above. I was working (DJing) when I snorted one from the newest batch and couldn't see out of my right eye because there was so much water coming out of my eye because my throat and nose were burning so badly. Anyways keep an eye out. I know what a fake looks like. Even so, I will never buy a M30 again, even if I know it is real and I am in terrible withdrawal. Something needs to happen.
