Human Growth Hormone to grow taller

Does anyone know about using HGH. I am 18 years old, about 5' 5", have never had a growth spurt, and have not grown in years. Another inch or two would make all the difference and you have no idea what it would do for my self-esteem. I know my growth plates are still open and would like to do something if possible before they close. Or are there any other options? I can accept myself for who I am, but want to do something if possible. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

My doctor suggested growth hormones to me once because I'm almost 17 & i haven't grown since i was 13 but my mom wouldn't let me because they can have seriously bad side effects. They can make you fat & grow lots of hair all over your body...Not good. 5' 5" is a good height. I'm only 5' 2" & i absolutely love it, guys prefer petite girls anyways.
