Dianabol, DHT, and Male Pattern Baldness? Does Dianabol convert to DHT
I have read mixed reviews on Dianabol, some saying it does convert to DHT, some saying it does not. It makes sense that it does since it is a testosterone derivative. If it does not convert to DHT, why should it cause hair loss? Also, I use an injectable form. Would side effects such as hair loss be less severe with an injectable form of Dianabol instead of pill form?

Any word with an -ol at the end is a steroid. Why are U taking steroids if it is not prescribed by a doctor? Steroids convert to a form of testosterone which increases muscle strength and also causes hair loss, look at some of yur wrestlers, and shrinkage of the testicles. Heart problems, too. My husband was tiny and turned into Mighty Mouse with steroids. He also had a 5-way heart bypass years later.

Hair loss doesn't happen to all individuals taking Dbol. Usually, hair loss gets accelerated to those with genetic predisposition to hair loss. Experts attribute this to conversion of Dbol to dihydrotestosterone. With regards to whether Dbol converts to DHT or not, I have not seen any confirmation which among the 2 statements are true. I also have yet to see a published & peer reviewed text which says that Dianabol or methandrostenolone doesn't convert into DHT. So until I see such text in books or journals, I'm leaning more on the statement that Dbol converts to DHT.
