Hi i was wondering does a blood test check to see if you,ve got a autoimmune disease?
Can your doctor get one done for you?
Ive been tested negative to hiv at 12wks, but im scared in case ive got a autoimmune disease that may delay seroconversion for hiv?

To check for the presence of an autoimmune disease, blood tests are often done, plus the presence of signs and symptoms pertaining to that specific autoimmune disease. Your doctor can give you a request for this but he has to check on you first to be able to know what test to request for.
Oftentimes, HIV test are accurate. However, if you truly feel that there may be something wrong with this result, you can have a confirmatory test done for HIV.
