Which autoimmune disease causes Hashimoto's Thyroiditis

I know I have an auto-immune disease caused by mono and related to EBV, but what's the name of the immune disorder itself?

I'm not sure what autoimmune disease CAUSE Hashimoto's although several autoimmune disease may coexist with each other. Conditions which I know may cause Hashimoto's are Turners & Down's syndrome as well as Klinefelter's syndrome.
