I have Still's Disease which is a form of RA (Google it) and I had marijuana few times around 3-4 years ago - Every time I had it I'd flare, so for me it certainly didn't help.

However, my sister's friend has MS and she says when she takes it, it helps with the pain. I've even heard of people being prescribed it.

I think it all depends on the type of Auto Immune Disorder, so I would definitely ask your girlfriend's doctor/consultant and not take any answer on Yahoo Answers as gospel.
