What are any other tests to have to see if you have a different autoimmune disease?

Are there any other tests that one can take to see if they have a different autoimmune disease? I have had FMS since 1995. My pain levels are so severe. I wake up as if I could be the TIN MAN in the Wizard of Oz. I have to use my left arm to lift my right arm and my knees are bad along with my hands, neck, shoulders and my lower back has not let up in six weeks or so. I take Lyrica, pain meds, a sleeping med and 2 muscle relaxers. I am always tired and lately I have had a very very hard time waking up. I usually am on the go from the time I get up til the time I go down. Today, I had to lie down for a while. Not good as I have to care for a 3.5 yr old. I drink water and have given up soda nearly a year ago. One cup of java upon rising. I try to eat healthy. I am just feeling like I have been run over by a Mac Truck. My eyesight too is getting very bad and I am a young 51. My ortho wants me to have shoulder surg. I see my rhemy in Sept. Any ideas out there? Thank you.

See if you can get emergency appt earlier with your rhemy.
Take sleep meds 1/2 hr earlier than now.
May need more than just Lyrica...like Cymbalta, Wellbutrin XL, Effexor XR.
Depending on how long you've been on Lyrica, you might want to check the side effects.

What's your diagnosis from your ortho? Maybe you need a 2nd opinion.
