Does 1 autoimmune disease increase risk for another?
I have one autoimmune disease. Am I at a greater risk for developing another than someone who does not already have one?

yes.. they are often related.. eg crohns, thyroid, pernicious anaemia etc

i would for sure ask your doctor that question. But to me stands to reason that once your immune system is compromised, its easier for something else to happen.
