yeah i'm a convert as well. i've been a lurker over there for a while, posting a bit. really liked the info there but this place looks promising. i'm curious to know how much this sites members have increased by in the last few days.

I too was on db. I hadn't been to the site in almost a year now, but checked in the other day to find it closed. I'm glad I found this site though.

i just lurked on that site... i was wrongly accused of being a shill twice for two MX operations... after they banned me, i just stopped posting. the mods there were definitely quick to judge and not willing to do the smallest amount of research on someone... glad to see this site up!

Yes, very upsetting that DB is down as for lots of us it was the only place that we found info about trustworthy sites.

I go so far back with them that my 1ST IOP was Onlinesolutions 4u and the amazing Rog Oberoi! Then he got arrested and I went to Indianmeds4u with another Rog who may or may not have been the sam guy. Not to mention Medssolutions 4u with Monica who I think may have been one of the Rog's girlfriends. Her site is still up and working and I did get an order from her about 6 mo. ago....she enticed with an offer of 50% free meds and I couldn't resist.
My last 3 orders have been with Shaz also after feedback from DB and I have been happy as I just got an order delivered today.
If I get upset with Shaz, I hope to maybe learn about some new sites here.
Also hope to get the frienships and support here that I had on DB.

I am also one of the DB orphans that found my way here. I was also on DB long enough to remember Indianmeds4u. In fact I go back far enough to remember the buymeds.com heyday. I hope to make some friends here and offer any help I can. I'm a long term CPS with debilitating cluster headaches. I live in an area with a serious doctor shortage which makes finding adequate health care quite difficult.
But enough about me. A big hello to everyone here on the PR board. Glad to be here!

Glad that you found this forum but I bet you did the same thing that I did after a few days of DB being down......get on Google and try to find out info and that info led me here and so far all the regulars seem pleasnat and welcoming. Hope that doesn't change as all the former posters from DB find this forum. It could surely change the dynamics heer from a small group to.....oh well I won't go there right now.
Need to get off line and get some sleep as I play competitive tennis and have a league match in the A.M. and need my sleep!

I am also a db lurker coming over here to say hi. I never posted over there much, but read for years. I loved all the information on just about everything and reading what different people had to say and some of the different personalities. I am very curious as to why it just all of the sudden went down like that. I really hope it isn't forever, but who knows, maybe this one could be better! I am kind of looking around and trying to figure things out over here. Anyway, hello everyone nice to "meet" you!

I agree, the info at DB has always been mostly reliable and a "certain" forums you had to have over 200 posts to post. I didn't have that many but I loved reading it and was never scammed by any vendor reccommended on that site. I hope we can find similar and trustworthy info over here....

Well we could all write a book about DB. The place is too narrow minded for me, besides the fact they constantly berated people for going off topic or speaking their mind. I think we are all better off without it.

DB just keeps going down, down, down. Too bad for those loyal member pooh bahs.

Even if DB was to come back online I will not be going back. It made enjoyable soap opera reading the past year. The high and mighty there pushed good people to the ground. It became a very rude site.

I hope you are right - it would be a shame to lose all the valuable information from the members who have posted for years. They have clout with a lot of IOPs and kept them in check if they ripped anyone off. Hopefully this site can do the same.

I have no particular loyalty to DB. I'm just looking for information and a community. I was not a Pooh Bah poster and mostly ignored the drama. I certainly can see how PR members would be protective of their community. Frankly if I had found PR first I would have preffered it.

I too am coming over from DB since it unexpectedly went offline. I've seen this site a few times in the past and it appears to have come quite a long way since then. Looks like a great place now and hopefully it will provide me with information and resources I find useful and relevant--and hopefully I can contribute what information and resources I have to everyone too!

I just found pharmacyreviewer and I think is even better than drugbuyers. But I must admit that people at drugbuyers saved me a lot of money preventing scam. Many thanks and a goodbye to them and Hello pharmacyreviewer!

I found this site years ago. Visited occasionally. Couldn't find the wealth of info that
was available at DB, but the people here always seemed welcoming. If DB is down for
the count, the bummer is that so many people had close cyber-friends that in most
cases will be lost to them. For me, I knew who to trust, I knew who to go to for info.
I'm not a pooh-bah, but have been around DB years longer than most of them. The
pooh-bahs that accumulated 1000 posts in 2-3 months annoyed the hell out of me
taking their pooh-bahness to a holier than thou level. Oh well, get a life, but please
not here.
