Wow. I am sooooo glad to have stumbled across you guys.

I've had Lyme disease for more than 20 years and am currently beginning one of the worst flare-ups ever. I've hit the wall with doctors who can help and am pretty much a 'do it yourself' kid.

I've been online looking for ways to get the antibiotics I need without ANOTHER visit to the doctor and after being totally disillusioned by the 'pay for info' sites, I came across you.

I haven't even begun to read through all the information here--I only know that I am ~~not~~ the only one and you are a new bunch of potential friends~~!!

I'm excited to get to know you and pick your obviously experienced minds.

Thanks for the welcome~~I went and read all the Forum Guidelines as you suggested. I've started surfing around looking at everything: I'm astounded at the variety of forum topics. I came only looking for a fairly specific piece of information and found this underground, diverse neighborhood. I really like the vibe here.

I giggle at the frequent mention of glasses of wine and various cocktails being anticipated for the evening....>giggle< It 'is' Friday night, I suppose!!!!

Hi @MamaKin it is nice to meet you! Sorry to hear about your illness.. I must admit I do not know much about Lyme and did not realize it lingers for that long...how awful for you. I can say with great certainty that you will gather tons (literally tons, you should probably rent some heavy equipment and a storage facility) of info that will be useful as well as meet some great people. I happen to love the random threads that people start because the posts are usually hilarious (looking at you @H20shed65 and @naughtysmurf ). Not sure if I have used up my "likes" today but I will definitely help you get your rep points up by clicking like or help whenever I can.

Just a friendly warning. That @poocheroo character should be avoided at all costs! Rumor has it that "she" is actually a 58 year old child molester currently serving 15 to Life who smuggled a smartphone into the big house and now poses on here as a sweet, helpful, sexy wife and mother with a wicked sense of humor. I was onto her scam within 5 minutes and consider yourself warned! She was nice at first to me, like she was to you in the post above, then "she" started asking creepy questions about my 12 year old twin boys and asking for pictures. Disgusting!
