Will UCLA Medical Center employees stay out of Michael Jackson's record? - Minneapolis health care business | Examiner.com

The media should not be all about 2mg of Ativan knocks you out, 2mg makes me normal. What happen'ed to the hipaa act? keep your health care private. ??

and propofol is illegal? NO! it's not even scheduled and I saw a few IOP's selling it. I just think the Jackson case is BS. He od'd on pro and ativan. Enough said. The news is just having a heyday with it.

Plastic Surgery also the most unhealthy thing to repeat.

I'd rather lose a kidney, then get 20 plastic surgeries. Had to be tremendously unhealthy to begin with and weak.

I don't really wish to know the details. He had serious issues, I'm sure Michael had a benzo tolerance and 2mg was nothing to him. Propofol isn't really an analgesic, so for anaesthesia they mix it with fentanyl a lot. And that causes serious resp depression maybe more so than prop/ativan combo. Michael didn't have the fentanyl.

I just don't know was he being sedated for a procedure? Or just wanted to get knocked out. I think his lack of health made him more susceptible for an OD. But I imagine they had given him this combo before. It would be quite an odd choice, to just think lets just try and shoot him up with propofol if they hadn't used it before, or there wasn't a procedure going on.

Maybe I just don't know enough.

yeah, they are (media) saying that the propofol was being tapered down and that's why the ativan script was there, it's just if his doctor gave it or he did it himself. Still a loss and I don't think the doc should be charged, Michael Jackson had drug problems and to detox propofol and ativan are great for getting off of whatever (morphine, oxys?) you were on before.

the (news) also said pro is used as a benzo detox. weird, i've had it for surgical with versad. i was out in a minute, but that minute was bliss.
