    Default free and clear?

Ok so hopefully I'm not breaking any rules here...still trying to learn what is ok to post and what not. I searched around for an answer to this question but couldn't seem to find anything. What I am wondering is, when worrying about LE, would the point of delivery of a package be the only time anything could actually happen? I tend to get a little tense on occasion, but I usually forget about it after I have physically received and opened a delivery. I guess mainly I'm wondering if there is a possibility of a LE visit years after just because of transactions and/or deliveries made or is it just a situation that would only happen at the time of delivery?

@orangeGorilla, usually it's gonna happen at the time of delivery, or they'll intercept the package ahead of time to deliver it dressed as a UPS employee or USPS employee, etc., but then I guess that's going to end up being at the time of delivery too!

Back when there were online pharmacies that you sent your records to and they prescribed hydrocodone every month for a pretty large fee, people were visited by the DEA or LE after the pharmacies were raided and the records were reviewed. In those very few cases, the police were after the pharmacist or owner of the pharmacy and wanted the people who were receiving medicine from those places to give a written statement or appear in court to convict the pharmacist/owner. They weren't actually after the people who were paying a monthly fee plus medicine costs to receive hydrocodone or various benzos.

So in short, nowadays your concern would be more about the immediate delivery. Since most people are ordering from over seas pharmacies there is nothing LE or DEA could do years later. It's not like they're going to India and trying to find files on people ordering. So if you get your package and no one busts your door down within the next hour I'd say you are okay

    Hope that made sense.

Made a lot of sense. Makes me a little more comfortable, I always get a little nervous when I hear a helicopter going over my house, but I guess as long as I don't hear the helicopter right when my delivery is scheduled I can relax a bit lol. And no I don't really think helicopters are out to get me.

Lol @orangeGorilla. I get leary too but try to tell myself it's all good. If LE is worried about me taking a few benzos then they certainly need to get their priorities straight.

Usually if you keep in small you will just get the "no no" letter from customs, etc.

I am sure that picking up the package has some very minor risk but I believe the largest risk would be getting stopped by police for something and them finding unsubscribe scheduled drugs on your person. I really doubt the DEA gives a damn, but you never know when some local yahoo cop is gonna try to make a bust. Keep these things at home, not on your person, and don't ever keep them in your car or at work where something could be search without your consent.
I had a high school friend who had another high school friend mail him 3/4 of a pound of weed when he was in college. He was arrested by postal inspectors when he picked the package up. He was in his junior year at Yale. He only got probation and some community service. he never made it back to Yale though and last time I talked to him he had just gotten out of prison(for another drug offense). Sometimes one thing can change your life in ways you could never imagine.

when they ask to search your car, politely tell them you do not give consent if they ask you why explain that it violates the 5 amendment, they will then ask you what you have that is illegal in your car, politely say nothing, they will probably ask you this several times at each junction politely say you have nothing illegal in the car. remember they are required to follow the law to and as long as you are not on felony probation and wreek like weed you will be let go this has happened to me 7 times everytime I drove away you have rights take control of the game.

I always say no to a search regardless of the situation. I never have anything illegal on me when I'm driving but just on principle. As soon as you say no they find it suspicious and will try everything to try and get you to let them search your vehicle. One time I had a cop push it so far asking me multiple times why I wouldn't let him search, and after multiple times I of saying I always say no on principle I decided to make a point, and let him search. He dug around as much as he could, didn't find anything and at the end I said so how was the search, I thought that when someone says no it immediately means they are hiding something, so how come you didn't find anything? He didn't say much but did proceed to write me a speeding ticket for going 4mph over. Lesson -- say no but don't get so upset and be a dick about it...lol.

There is an amazing video...about 15-25 minutes long or so of a lawyer giving a presentation on the many reasons why not to talk to the police about anything, no matter how innocent you really are. I would post the link...but I feel like I read not to post links? If someone tells me you can post links I will put it on here.

I see what you're saying but I have never really understood the purpose of this type of attitude
If you are doing nothing illegal, why would you just dick with the police to extend the dialogue and create unnecessary suspicion? Entertainment value maybe?
This just seems to me like it's way, way more hassle than it's worth.

@orangeGorilla I also get jittery as delivery time approaches. Even make sure I am presentable for my mug shot should the need occur. If I hear a siren then go look out the window, are they here at my house.

That is just part of ordering - more so if ordering anxiety meds.

It would be highly unlikely they will charge people later on.

But, do get rid of your product items, put in proper container or hide (some have had to hide product from family, friends getting it). In fact, the only thing that might happen years later is an irate spouse during a custody divorce battle would bring up iop ordering.

Edited to add: what is the reason peeps are being pulled over to be asked to search vehicle? Out of date inspection, out late at night driving erratically, in a 'profiled' car with lots of 'I carry a gun' bumper stickers, loitering in your vehicle in a 'known' bad area of town late at night, going over the speed limit? Don't have to answer just be aware why you are being pulled over.

I would cooperate (you don't want to irritate a cop), but you could politely state you do not consent to this search, but they do it anyway - your attorney will deal with this later.

Don't even give them a reason to stop you in the first place.

@alumni Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and way of going about things. I do not dislike the police. I have 3 relatives who are all career officers..one was a police chief the other is a detective and one a state trooper. I even wanted to be a cop almost my whole life...until I decided I wanted to make much much more money than they do. That being said, I also celebrate my rights. You could also look at it in the way of, if you are doing nothing illegal at the time, why should you have your rights violated? Even in discussions with my cop relatives they have even suggested don't ever consent to a search, don't talk to the police under any circumstances.

Anything can be used against you, but NOTHING you say or do can be used to help you. You can talk yourself into jail easily even if its false, but you can never talk yourself out. Long story short, my opinion is that if an officer wants to search my car he needs to present me with a valid reason not just, I think you might possibly have something and just kinda want to see.

@Alternate You make it sound like we were talking about getting pulled over and searched 4 times a week lol. I've actually only been pulled over a tiny handful of times...only ever for speeding. It's when its late at night that I have been asked to consent to a search.
