@forevergangreen No, I hadn't heard about the newer version. Good to know! Thanks.

The weakest Link was awesome, the host was so saracastic and she always kept a straight face. Sorta like Simon Cowell from American Idol/ The X-factor
Though I havent watched it in awhile, I do like Cash cab. Now I have noticed there is a Chicago cash cab and I want to see it and write the cab number down. I am not too far from being able to take a train to chicago, then I would just hail cabs, check the numbers and say nevermind until I found the right cab. Well just a fantasy but a possible fantasy.
I also like the price is right sometimes. We used to watch Wheel of Fortune years ago but it started changing and we got burned out on it. Jeopardy is good too but unless its college week, I feel really dumb sometimes.

My mom told me that when I was a little girl, I absolutely loved Family Feud. I still love that show to this day![]()
I used to skip school and watch Price is Right. This was of course in the late seventies. Man those chicks were hot to a 11-12 year old boy...
And now, I can't stand any TV. Seems like total brainwashing.
Hmmm... I'm quite the Game Show Conisseour - I absolutely MISS Supermarket Sweep - It used to be on Pax and Lifetime - who didn't love watching a bunch of crazed people runninng through a supermarket - it was awesome! (I also totally had my perfect route through the supermarket planned out - get the Big 3 Meats, Grab the big Deli Hams, Cheese and Salmi, Go for diapers and then OTC Meds - UNDEFEATABLE). I also like Match Game - in reference to your Wheel of Fortune "being done drunk" article - the same thing has been said about the panel on Match Game. Finally - nothing can beat Press Your Luck - I mean - Whammys (and the classy 80s animations) and the one dude who totally beat them (discovered the patterns on the board)... I wish we had better game shows still coming out... the new Whammy SUCKED - I miss Peter Tomarken!

The original Family Feud!!!! That was a great show!
Hollywood Squares is a classic
Funniest game show? The newlywed game!!!!!! Can you say "making whoopee!!!"?
That show would leave you in stiches....and some of the males NEEDED stitches when it was all over!!

I love all of the old game shows. I think because of the nostalgia I feel when watching them! I can "waste" a whole day on The Game Show Network just watching them. Oh those were the days...![]()
My favorite game show is Wheel of Fortune. I have been watching it since the late 80's when I was a kid. I had no choice but to watch it because my grandmother wouldn't let me look at anything else. It grew on me and I like it. I swear Vanna looks great for her age.

Yes, that line was said by millions! "You ARE the weakest link! Good bye!"
Remember another show called Press Your Luck? "No whammies, no whammies, no whammies!!!" Very catchy phrase heard all over the place! I think that is what made some shows famous, good catch phrases.

Ninja Warrior (or Sasuke as it's known in Japan).
C'mon, who doesn't like seeing people doing crazy obstacle courses and looking like asses when they fall in the water? It makes the times that people are successful that much more amazing, since pretty much everybody fails.
