Hey UGAgirl I can't pray but I send good vibrations your way all of the times. Couple of things from my own experience, doctor don't expose themselves and will NEVER guarantee
for anything.... even when removing tonsels, so don't worry about that bit + pharmaceutical coma is a common practice they handle everyday and is meant to keep your brain activity as low as possible, which is definitely a good thing for you right now. Meet you back here soon.

Sounds like she'll be in ICU for awhile heavily sedated.

She is in CCU last night. Just because her vital would not stay stable but calm
Down now. We hope she gets moved to ICU soon. She is drugged induce coma at moment. Doc did good job on surgery. She looks like she has a wicked haircut right now half head shaven. I have taken some pics where I hope she will have a laughs at when she is up to it.

Now we wait. Do not know if she will heal 100% or what. That will only be able to be determined once she wakes up and brain function starts back.

I hope this update is enough and sorry if not going in right place. I regisyerted for me an account to do an update, but everything is locked. She gave me her login info so I hope ok to use for today.

Ok I had back surgery in january and that helped me greatly with saitica and nerve pain. I was told they would do right hip surgery shortly after I recover from back. Said was too risky to do both surgeries together when I woke up in recovery.

Isn't life strange? Just last month she posted that her doc said the hip surgery was "too risky". Everything is definitely relative and like Binky1957, I cried after reading that the procedure to access the stem required cutting off her ear first. (Oh sure the plastic fantastic doc reattached same, but I tried to imagine how I would have felt when they explained the surgery.)

I wonder if the reason that she developed this brain stem problem, was partially due to her hip. Her body was definitely out of balance doing even the simplest of motions. Any one here who has a similar injury where the pain is more pronounced on one side v. the other, can attest to the stress it puts on seemingly unrelated body areas or parts.

I am humbled to be present in the solidarity of PR members who are focused on healing for UGAgal.
