    Default BF in hospital in unrelenting pain...so much for pain management

    bf back in the hospital for another back surgery. they have left him in unrelenting pain for two days and nights now...big poster on the wall about how you are entitled to have your pain taken seriously. apparently they are worried about overdosing...he has been in pain on and off for 7 years and yes has a really high tolerance for pan medication...what iis so hard to understand? i mean you are in a hospital, they should be able to deal with this. now i have to sit here and worry about him....this just shouldnt be

    @veri,
    Have you seen the hospital pain specialist? or i would ask the admitting dr to have his pain re-evaluated and his medication adjusted by a pain dr if the admitting dr will not ,my have the same problem in the hospital too, I used heat and cool packs along with meds

    My aunt has had multiple back surgerys as well. she has been on and off of painkillers for awhile, but has just recently (past 1-2 weeks) been getting them from her friend. i am going to talk to her and see if i can help her
