i was prescribed baclofen in early june from Great Ormand Street Hospital, im now down to my last 2 pills (previously taking 3 a day) since around June 3rd. My doctors have refused to give me a repeat prescription and im not due to go back to the hospital for another 2 months.
Iv researched online and saw some pretty serious withdrawl effects if you stop the drug immediatley.
i was wondering if anyone new much about this or anyone has experience,
should i be worried ?
I would advise that you reiterate this problem with your doctor. He should know that taking baclofen is not to be abruptly terminated. If he/she doesn't agree, ask them why, and if that answer doesn't satisfy you, try to find another doctor who will give you a prescription; preferably a titrating lower dose to wean you off of the drug.
