If you're willing to pay for express delivery, Jean Claude will pop along and leave a 'sample' in your mailbox - as fresh as your morning milk, if you get my meaning.

That's fine, as long as you leave it to Jean Claude to 'pop' the rest.

By himself - aside from a little postcard of Bruce Lee he carries around with: he likes to look at it, something about it getting him in the mood, apparently.

G'day Sambob, something to consider, Sweden banned Soma a few years back and EU communitty is also considering it. Yet another great RX possibly down the tubes because of politics

Only tried [Musflex] Soma and Zanaflex, and the Zanaflex was very effective!

I believe that the likely reason that Soma (carisoprodol) is the most frequently chosen muscle relaxants BY FAR, may have more to do with it's potential to cause heavy sedation, anxiolysis, and a potentiating effect on narcotic drugs, than it does with it's effectiveness as a muscle relaxant.

I could be wrong, and I don't want to offend anyone who feels that Soma is indeed the most effective muscle relaxant for them. I have no doubt that carisoprodol is the most effective muscle relaxant for some individuals, however, when looking at the poll results, it appears that there may be some other variable in play here besides muscle relaxant efficacy that has caused the results to so strongly be in favour of Soma.

Myself, I personally find both orphenadrine (available OTC in Canada as Orfenace, and by prescription-only elsewhere as Norflex, Banflex, Norgesic, and several other trade names) and methocarbamol (Robaxin) to be quite effective as muscle relaxants, and, while extremely sedating, tizanadine (Zanaflex) I also find to be extremely effective.

This is my personal opinion and reaction to these medications, however; your mileage may vary.

Had to go with valium because it seems to work the best for me and has so many other uses it is nice to have around. Second would have to be soma, but you have to be really careful not to drink at all on it. Soma is also very helpful in enhancing the effects of opiates so you don't have to swallow down as many pills.

Hydrocodone is a pain killer narcotic medication
Muscle Relaxants are a different class of medication

I am not smart enough to compare the two effectively and give you the complete break down but the relaxants listed her are supposed to in theory help your muscles relax, untighten, and by relaxing help deal with spasm issues or the cause of the pain.

Whereas the pain killer is more of a band aid they give you to help you live with or manage the pain. In some cases relaxants don't solve the problems or help with them and at that point they may try a combination of pain killers and other things to help you find relief. Some of us happen to need the band aid since our problems can't be "fixed".

I agree with you there. I responded to zanaflex the best as well.

Baclofen but only for its anxiety relieving properties and the fact it broke me of being an alcoholic. Probably not for actual muscle relaxing properties unless you have ALS or something horrible like that.
