If you were really worried about baclofen, you should have asked your doctor about it when he/she gave you the prescription. You could have also asked your pharmacist about it when you got the prescription filled. I don't personally know anything about the drug, but I want to encourage you to ask questions to professionally educated people whenever you have the chance. My advice would be to take it as prescribed, and if you start experiencing adverse side effects then stop taking it and call your doctor's office to see if they'll prescribe you something else.
