Will I lose muscle tone and mass with muscle relaxants?

My doctor put me on Lorazepam, which isn't made to be a muscle relaxant but does have those properties I found out. I lift weights and am a body builder and was wondering if it will make me lose muscle tone and mass because lately my muscles have been feeling weak while taking it.

No - it will not cause you to lose mass.
You are feeling weak as a result of the muscle relaxer effect. If you can - just keep working out

No it doesn't affect mass yet just as it says relaxes the muscle. You will be okay. But some possible side effects of muscle relaxants include:

* Drowsiness or dizziness.
* Possible addiction or dependence.
* Dry mouth.
* Urinary retention.
