Pliva 563 is a brand of the generic drug cyclobenzapine (10mg), it's from the same family as Flexeril. The recommended dose for this drug is 10 mg three times a day. Use of cyclopbezapine for periods longer than two or three weeks is not recommended since there's not enough studies about its effectivity for longer periods.

As for its comparison or similarities with soma (generic drug: (carisoprodol)), both are just for relief of symptoms associated with musculoskeletal conditions but are considered as adjuncts to rest and physical therapy. It shouldn't be used as a sole regimen for these cases. Both drugs have drowsiness as it's most common side effect, but let me emphasize that the side effects vary in different individuals, same goes for the efficacy of the drug. Some say Pliva works better for muscle spasms and Soma for back pain.
