Default "Drugs Inc" TV Seies-Pill Nation

If you have the National Geographic Channel, they are airing a show called "Pill Nation", it's from a series of shows called "Drugs Inc" VERY informative and interesting to watch. (I would assume you could watch this show on Hulu or one of those sites if you don't have this channel.) IMO this is a worthwhile hour long show to watch. Weather you want to learn about prices, the way that Americans are obtaining these medications, how widespread this "epidemic is" or are just curious to learn, this show has something to offer everyone.

I'm shocked at some of the things I'm learning by watching this show, but glad I stumbled across this program, it's very interesting!

My husband and I have really enjoyed watching the "Drugs, Inc." series of shows. My husband and I don't always enjoy the same T.V. programs, but this is one show that we both really enjoy watching. It's a very interesting show. The National Geographic Channel seems to have a lot of reruns of the show in case you miss the first episode.

I've been watching drugs inc. I saw the cocaine, ecstasy, ketamine, crack. And hallucinogens. Very informative and interesting.

Yep the only pills you can have fun with now are roxicodone and dilaudids unless you can get some fentanyl. Everything else has some time release crap in it.

I haven't seen the pill nation episode yet. But all of the other ones that I watched we're really interesting and informative. I've watched the cocaine, meth, marijuana, and hashish episodes. It's a good show I'll check out the pill episode if I see that it's on

I have seen a few of these episodes. I caught the MJ and crack cocaine ones. Pretty funny they seem to get full access to the drug dealers and thier business practices without any worries? If I was growing MJ or selling I would stay far away from the cameras.

I would imagine they're paid a hefty sum of money to be filmed. I wish I could get that channel.

I agree.. wonder what would happen to the guys filming or the producers that set it up if those guys got busted because of being on the show?

I never understood these people that signed up for these shows or even that show intervention. Why would you want to broadcast yourself so everyone knows your business. Even if they offered me money I wouldn't want to be broadcasted all over television.

What kind of "fun" are you referring to having with fentanyl?
    Injectable or the patches?
Many of the people I knew who tried abusing fentanyl are not with us anymore.
And sadly not on any TV series.

One of my good friends from high school died from fentanyl patch abuse. He left a wife and three little boys behind.

I never had amps of fentanyl just patches. I use to use them recreational. Yes many people that use fentanyl do not understand how potent it is. When I was using it I had a very high tolerance. I was getting the 100 mcg patches. Not the gel ones. I would split it into 4 pieces and just stick it between my cheek and gums. Most people that die off of it are people that do not know what doses they are taking or even what they are taking.

Many of the people who die from it are like you apparently were. They thought they were really smart and knew what they were doing by "chewing" fentanyl patches.
    You were lucky.

My friend had been using them for years, just to party, he thought he knew what he was doing too. Just saying.

    @sophie30

To many ways to hurt yourself. Glad I use my pain meds for what they are intended for..maybe an extra one here or there for breakthru. I have been offered stronger than I am currently taking but know I would like them to much Im sure so better off not messing around..at least for me I know my tendencies and limitations.

I couldn't find a stream but there's an excellent quality AVI torrent release by DiVERGE available.

    Many thanks for the heads-up!

@mark129395 Interesting that you mention fentanyl, I just got a fentanyl lolly, I feel a lot better about using it for my pain than putting a patch on. I am currently on 100 mg morphine, so I will just use the lolly for more intense pain. I don't plan on having to use the entire pop at once, it's 1600 mcg and I know a little will go a long way.

BTW, I'm glad the others that responded to my original post have enjoyed watching this series, I know it opened my eyes to a few things I wasn't aware of.
@FASTTRIP what info on there did you see that wasn't correct? Just curious which episode you were referring to.
