Hmm, for me that would have to be Steel Magnolia's. The movie is funny and sad but it make me appreciate life a bit more. Julia Roberts played Shelby like a pro.

I guess it depends on what type of crappy mode I'm in but for now I'll say Office Space and Forrest Gump, Blind Side, Hangover, Gridiron Gang and also the silly stuff like Airplane and Naked Gun.
And for those that are into to martial arts, Ip Man is the best ever!

Glad to have a fan of Wes on the Forum. You defiantly need to see Moonrise, it has such an amazing cast and a great style. You an tell a lot of effort was put into the movie from the characters to the artwork. Anyways my fav Wes Anderson would probably be Rushmore, it put's me in a great mood.
if iv got a really bad hangover and i just cant get out of bed.
I'll put on archer or It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Those two programs crack me up even when im just barely listening to them,
One of my favorites has to be Crash, such a powerful message, I loved a Beautiful Mind , such an inspiration. The Hangover also good, but not as funny the 2nd or 3rd time around.

Run Lola Run - It has the most invigorating soundtracks I've ever heard.
The Virgin Suicides - Makes me happy I survived adolescence.
Oh, and every Woody Allen movie ever made!
When I am feeling like sick, I need a great slapstick! Space Balls always does it for me. Actually anything Mel Brooks does it for me.
When I'm feeling down in the dumps, I tend to watch the original Star Wars. My love for the jedi/sith resonates with my inner child!
Drugstore Cowboy. You know, that movie about procuring drugs from pharmacies in a way some may view unsavory? Pharmacy...sounds familiar...

Office Space and Extract are both great pick-me-up films![]()

Any Russel Crowe and Gladiator fans out there I love this movie good action and drama, but I also love Kingdom of Heaven (Im a big battle scene kinda person)
Superbad always makes me laugh!
I would have to go with Lost in Translation. It's a not a love story, but still makes me wonder what it would be like to have a life in different part of the world. The movie has a very calming feel to it as well. I've always been fascinated with Japan, and the scenery and environment in the movie always puts me in awe.
"Life is hard. After all, it kills you." - Katharine Hepburn
No question. Wedding crashers. Best dumbass movie ever made.
Anything by Mel Brooks.

How about favorite TV show? Breaking Bad......hands down...the best, maybe ever...or The Wire
Good Pings Come In Small Packets
Good question... several for me, really. Lord of the Rings is great... but only if you have about 11 hours to watch them all straight-through. Flirting With Disaster is hilarious!!! Especially the acid scene. And, of course, Animal House. But another truly great movie (but don't watch it if you're already depressed) is Terms of Endearment.
