Wink Sight (not site) feedback - i need help!

    Hello.
I think I am going colour blind here. Has anyone noticed the little star you get now for the green pips, when you get too many? anyway, i reckon it's red, a dull red. other's think it's bronze. please help me decide whether i should get my vision tested by voting whether you think it's red or bronze. help me please!

If you don't know what I'm taking about just check out @Keith K Stone
Thanks, I would really appreciate your help! ;-)

Looks to be a bronze star to me. But don't take my eyesight as right. I spent too many years tanning in the booths with no protective glasses on. Now my vision is kind of blurry anyways. Not to mention all the meds and stuff i'm on.

Hopefully a few more people will chime in on this.

Before you freak out on us, your monitor can slide out of calibration, and can change colors on you. I use Apple products, and I can set my screen (display preferences) to about 50 different types of setting. The star you asked about looks bronze to me, but if i picked a different setting, it would be anything from slightly different, to a completely different color.

You really have nothing to worry about based on different users opinion of a color, but of course, an eye exam is always a good thing...even more so if you use computers a lot, they do stress your eyes...

@msa77 - good advice all round.TY Might be my computer but i admit i have a problem distinguishing between brown & purple now - An eye test might be a good idea - it begins at 40 i hear...almost 41..

I used to be a lab technician at a couple of the chain eyeglass stores and was training for my opticians certification when i changed careers so i can give you a little insight here (no pun intended) but i am not an optometrist or certified optician, so keep that in mind. the crystalline lens in the eye begins to deteriorate anywhere from 40 to 50 years of age and that would account for blurry vision, but i have never heard of that accounting for any color blindness. i would check your monitor. more than likely, its out of whack.

will do that polly, thanks for your advice - like the pun. Thinking it could be my computer yes, but when i see brown as purple i'm talking about my hubby's pants... perhaps it's the large bulge there that's diffracting the colour spectrum hahahaahha (he'd like that im sure!) ;-)
