Default When to take prescriptions & supplements

I take several prescription pills and some supplements as well. I'm always wondering when I should take what or is it ok to just take them all at once.
I usually take my fluoxetine, propranolol and levoxyl in the morning then in the middle of the day I take Acetyl-L Carnitine, Green tea extract and Omega 3 fish oil. At night I take prometruim and tri-est. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I found a website called drugs.com where I can check for interactions with medications and supplements. Now I can check which ones I can take at the same time.

You could always ask your pharmacist as well.

@billyboy1965 Thanks! I thought of asking my pharmacist, but they always seem so busy that I hate to bother them. (I suppose that's my social anxiety talking)

Default You do need to talk to your pharmacist @BirdLover

Do you have one that knows you and your medications and suppliments? It might make you have less anxiety. I have had the same one for over 25 yrs. He knows everything about my conditions and medications including the ones I have to fill at another pharmacy because of insurance.

I get horribly confused about when to take on a empty stomach, with food, and interactions between suppliments and medications. I didn't know I couldn't take niacin because I take blood pressure meds. I call him when I know he isn't real busy too. That helps.

But really, have a list and call to get the skinny. It's best for your health.

Anxiety is no fun! I have really bad too. Just call, much easier, I promise.

Peace and less jitters to you,
    Deb

@debbrad Thanks for the advice and encouragement. It gave me another idea, which is easiest for me. I'll just email my pharmacist. That way I'll be sure to have all the information together and he can answer me when he has the time.

Guy G is on a distinguished road

I always found it easier to ask my pharmacist instead of doctors. Pharmacist seems more knowledgeable with drug interactions
