Using Clotrimazole cream on penile thrush, how soon will symptoms clear up

I have red dots/spots on my penis head. Went to the GUM clinic who gave me a tube of cream to use twice a day. It has started to clear but I was wondering how quickly it will clear up completely?

it shouldnt take any longer than a couple days to a week depending on how severe it is
