How long does oral ketoconazole take to stop the spread of ringworm
I've been taking oral ketoconazole for 3 days to treat a bad outbreak of ringworm. It still appears to be spreading, and has just begun to itch a little bit. The spots that were small before have gotten bigger, and it is still spreading because I just found some bumps on my face that look like they will bloom in a day or so. I'd just like to know how long it takes for the oral medication to stop the spread of the fungus. It's the weekend so I can't get in contact with my physician until the week but I want to know now, if possible. I am hesitant to use the cream around my eyes where the ringworm has now spread. I am kind of freaking out and paranoid that this problem is never going to go away.
