any nurses out there? can i take a maalox advanced chewable tablet after havin already taken advil

i called my gastroenterologist's office but the lady wasnt sure AT ALL. i got my period today and i take advil for it cause its the one thing that works. but now im experiencin very loud burps that build up and i cant take deep breaths because of it >_<

i had a cracker with the advil at around 2 to 2:30pm to day and its now 9pm and just had dinner an hour ago and its why i need the maalox. doesnt it matter how many i take, 1 or 2?

Yes you can take Maalox after already taking Advil. I am not a nurse, but Advil and Maalox are two completely different things.

you need to wait an hour, or the maalox will block absorption of the advil and it won't work. Next time eat a cracker with the advil and you won't have this issue.
