If the customer asked for Xanax and you provided him the real one (and provided that the meds aren't expired yet), it doesn't matter whether it worked for him or not as long as you gave him the correct medication. As an online purchaser, the customer should know the risk of buying medication online. Besides, most patients who buy online do not have prescriptions and often "self-medicate", thus they aren't sure that they are getting the appropriate medication for their condition (like taking Xanax for pain).
Keep all records of you transactions with the customer (email, order forms, etc.) just in case he pursues his complaint. Now, if he asked for the particular brand "Xanax" and you gave a generic counterpart without the customer's consent (while advertising that you're selling the Xanax brand), then that's another story.
