I had nose bleeding with strong flu and cough but my INR was 2.36 ? was warfarin the cuase of bleeding?

My INR was 2.36 when i had nose bleeding a month ago . It was my first problem with warfarin since 1989. was warfarin the cause of this bleeding even i had strong flu before the bleeding ?

The nose bleed may probably be from the increased strength of blowing your nose because of the flu which probably damaged tiny blood vessels in your nose and caused the nose bleed. If the bleeding stopped at once, it is no cause for concern. However, if the bleeding took a long time to stop, it may be due to your warfarin therapy and you must seek help at once if it does not stop bleeding. Hope this helps.
