Has anyone taken Verapamil The Cardiologist gave me for Fascicular Idopatic Ventricular Tachycardia
I have mild headache and dizziness; will that go away once you get used to the medicine?
Also I have a sore throat and fever; the Doctor says that this is not a side effect of the verapamil medicine.
Has anyone here got any experience with this medicine?

What happens to a person with regards to the medication they take varies. But, as your doctor has said, your sore throat and fever is not a side effect of your medication and may rather be a sign of an infection. This may also be aggravating your headache and dizziness. You may need an antibiotic to treat that infection, if ever. Did your doctor have a look at your condition personally? He shouldv'e checked the reason for your fever and sore throat.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply. He knows I have fever but didn't tell me the cause of it nor gave me medication for it.
