I am on Clexane (Heparin) to thin my blood but I'm getting terrible bruises. What can i do to prevent this?

I'm on 40mg every evening, as I have a blood clotting problem and I'm likely to be on it for at least the next few months - I'm getting huge black and blue bruises which is obviously related, but is there anything else I can do to prevent this? I'm pregnant so there's a limit to additional drugs/supplements I can take. Thanks.
hi amazon woman, i self inject every night, and I have it to help maintain the pregnancy. I'm also having other injections which my nurse does as they're into muscle, and I'm bruised there too! I'm sure its not an allergy, just the way the drug works. Will try Arnica as was also suggested.

I took antidepressant pills years ago and when I told the doc about the bruising she said stop the immediately that means you are allergic to them - see your doctor.

You could try Arnica, ask in your health shop, it's homeopathic and very good.
