What would happen if 150mg Amiodarone was given IV push in a patient that was not in arrest?
I was just wondering what would happen if the medication Amiodarone was given IV push to a patient that was not in arrest if it would cause any harmful effects. I would apreciate any information on the topic.

it would depend on the situation. amiodarone is used to lower the heart rate. if a persons heart rate was already low then yeah it would cause problems
