    Default Question about Western Union

I have a quick question for Western Union Vets. Once a payment has been picked up is there a way to find out the store id number of where it was picked up? The vendor I'm dealing with swears this is possible, but Western Union told me that they can't give that information out for security purposes. They told me the city, state, and time it was picked up but not the store number. If anyone has any info concerning their policies, I'd appreciate it.

As far as I know there is no way to get the store/WU location it was picked up at. However, All I ever do is check on the main WU site to make sure the funds are available before I send the MCTN to the receiver, and the check every day or two until I see the funds are picked up. Just out of curiosity, what does it matter what specific store the pickup is made??

Thanks for the help, that's what I thought. I'm asking because I'm having a bit of a dispute with a vendor and they told me they'd be able to help more if I could get them that info.

You need to ditch this vendor. They need the store number? And what else? What the clerk was wearing, what he had for breakfast? Whether the recipient got twenties or tens? What difference does any of that make? The recipient got the money and the great thing about western union is you have absolute proof that funds were received. That's all that matters.

I don't know what the western union policy is, but if you think it through it makes sense.

yes i would also agree to ditch the vendor. file a complaint. I have been using the same vendor for many months and have not had a single problem. It took me a couple of bad vendors to finally find a good one. I learned some valuable tips from the senior board. try to contribute some quality posts and you will get there. I was on the senior board and now they changed the requirements. so I'm off to help people and maybe I can get back on. The only bad thing about dealing with mexico is the whole country is corrupt.
