adderall prescription

i was diagnosed with adult add in california. i moved to another state and now they will not write me my prescription! i am getting pissed because they keep aking me who the doctor is that diagnosed me, i tell them i don't remember because frankly, its none of their fucking business. i feel this way because they went out in the waiting room and asked my dad a bunch of questions about it, (my mom took me because he doesn't believe in add), and that was a direct violation of doctor patient confidentiality. what should i do? i can't exactly change doctors.

They need to know your old doctors name so they can call and confirm the prescription. Otherwise druggies could just write prescriptions with a fake doctors name.

I was on adderal for a little while, I didn't like it...It made me very jittery and sometimes it felt like my heart was going to stop. And I was only averaging about 4 hours of sleep a night.
