Average dose of Adderall for diabetic weight loss

I have borderline Type 2 Diabetes and I have tried my hardest to lose weight and I can't. I have heard of a pediatric endrocronologist that has given Adderall to over 800 kids and teens and over 90% of them lost weight.

I am going to ask my docotor to put my on this. What is the reccomended dose for someone with boderline diabetic/insulin resistance? I really feel that this is my only hope.

Please don't tell me anything other than what I asked.I don't want a warning label. Thank you.

Your doctor will not prescribe this to you for weight loss. If anything he will tell you to see a nutritionist and to go to the gym. this drug is for people with ADD, it is a stimulant and often times stimulants suppress your appetite. They also can be very addictive. I believe the average dose for adults is between 10 and 30 mgs but like I said, unless you are found to have adult ADD your doctor will not give this to you.
