I am interested to know if there is anyone else out there that has been prescribed a dosage of 160 mg total a day. That equates to 4X10 mg tablets, taken 4 times a day. This was the amount my doctor and I decided would be my last increase. I am 19 years of age, and i have been on that dosage since the start of year 12.
Sounds like a lot to me.
As an alternative provider I have a hard time with the idea of taking Ritalin at your age at all.
I find that normal, diversified/upper cervical chiropractic care does wonders for people with hyperactivity/ADHD.
Do you get healthcare through your school? You should get a chiropractor off your insurance list and go - it will make a world of difference.
